Be sure to have Telegram installed on your device without signing in. If you already have, you can go your settings and clear the app’s cache and data to refresh it to it’s new state.
I’ll take you through two procedures so you can decide which you prefer.
1. Use TextNow App
Kindly follow the steps very carefully;
- Download the TextNow app and install it on your device. It is available on Google Play Store, Apple App Store, and the Microsoft Store.
- Launch the app and select your preferred number.
- Now open Telegram and sign up with the number you just acquired from the TexNow app.
- A verification code will be sent to the number on the TextNow app
- Verify to complete the registration process.
- Done. You can now use Telegram without a mobile number.
Below is a second option to consider if you don’t want to use the TextNow App.
2. Use A Landline Telephone
Follow the steps below if you’re unable to complete the first option;
- Sign up on Telegram with your landline number.
- Telegram will send a verification code to your landline number, but since you can’t access messages on the landline, you will have to wait for a few minutes and choose the call option so that you receive a new code via phone call.
- Enter the verification number to complete the registration.
- Done! Now you’re using Telegram, but not from your personal number.
